Steppin’ Out for Dimock is Boston’s
liveliest and most highly anticipated gala fundraising
events of the year. Staged to mimic the jazz clubs of
the 30’s through the 60’s, this one-of-a-kind
charity music-fest attracts more than 4,000 of the city’s
glitterati for an evening of music, dancing, food, friends
and fun.
This year, Steppin’ Out is turning 20 years old
and we’ll celebrate the history and the legacy of
this remarkable Boston fundraising event. Emerald anniversary
guests will enjoy nationally-renowned headliners and local
artists in 8 different themed clubs while dining on delectable
food and mingling with fashionably-attired revelers. This

Proceeds from Steppin’ Out directly benefit the patients
and clients Dimock Community Health Center serves. With
over 80 programs offered on and off our campus, Dimock reaches
more than 40,000 people each year with high quality healthcare
and human services programs. Established in 1862 as the
New England Hospital for Women and Children, Dimock has
been an enduring presence in the Roxbury community for 145
years. Since it became a Community Health Center in 1969,
Dimock has become a national model for delivering high quality
health care and innovative “wrap-around” programming,
and has helped improve the lives of hundreds of thousands
of individuals and families throughout Greater Boston.
